Nicky Weeks

Hi, I'm Nicky, Mum of 2, and a psychologist (PhD/Masters). I am passionate about helping people to improve their quality of life and believe that healthy eating an important part of that. When we moved out in 2009 we cut out all processed foods, including grains, and gradually reintroduced things to see how we felt. I hadn't felt sick before, but after changing our diet I had more energy, felt less tired, and no longer had the tummy troubles that I previously thought were a normal part of life. Finding time to cook healthy food for 3 meals a day, when it was just Tim and me was one thing. Now we have two little ones, and keeping up a stock of healthy meals and portable snacks is a challenge. I hope to share what I have learned about raising a real-food-family.
