Delicious Fish Tacos

Fish Tacos

A delicious twist on regular tacos, these fish tacos are a breeze to make. So easy and so fresh!

Ingredients

  • Dressing:
    • ½ cup buttermilk
    • 3 tablespoons plain yoghurt
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 2 teaspoons cumin
    • 2 teaspoons coriander
    • ¼ teaspoon ground chilli
    • 1-2 teaspoons sugar
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • ¼ whole red cabbage, finely chopped
  • 4 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • ½ bunch coriander, chopped
  • 600g white fish
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Drizzle olive oil
  • 8 tortillas
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Fresh lime wedges, to serve
  • Chilli sauce, to serve

Method

  1. Combine all dressing ingredients and blend until combined.
  2. Combine celery, carrots, cabbage, onions and coriander in a bowl, top with dressing.
  3. Lightly coat the fish with flour and paprika then pan fry in oil until just cooked.
  4. Serve fish aside the salad, tortillas and avocado for your guests to assemble.
